Mary Mitchell
Please join me in congratulating Mary Mitchell, assistant professor of history, for winning the prestigious Shelby Cullom Davis Center Fellowship at Princeton University.
Mary plans to utilize the fellowship in spring 2020.
The seminar unites visiting scholars who are working on law in societies throughout the world. Prior to beginning her doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania, Mary earned a J.D., practiced law in Pennsylvania, and was a law clerk under Judge Anthony J. Scirica of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mary also served as an Atkinson Postdoctoral Fellow in Sustainability at Cornell University from 2016-18 – a period that included her first academic year as a Purdue faculty member (2017-18).
Congratulations, Dr. Mitchell!
