Michael Jacovides
Please join me in congratulating Michael Jacovides, professor of philosophy, for his selection as a National Endowment for the Humanities fellowship recipient.
Highly competitive NEH grants go to scholars who distinguish themselves through outstanding research, writing, and investigation. This fellowship comes with a $60,000 award to support Michael’s project, “Springs and Principles of the Universe: David Hume on Laws and Causes,” which will consist of research and writing leading to a book on the development of philosopher David Hume’s theories of laws and causation.
Congratulations, Professor Jacovides!
