“I'm an opportunity grabber, I think that if you have an opportunity you should seize it. Just go for it!"

What is your dream job & what do you want to do after graduation?

My dream job is to be a publicist for celebrities in the entertainment industry. I’m not sure where I want to go, if I want to go straight to L.A. because a lot of times to become a publicist you have to work in a talent agency and so I might want to go dabble in that. Maybe go to Chicago, and work and see what it looks like from the base level. A publicist is the brain and designer behind the brand that is a celebrity. They plan their time, and that is what I love about it. I got to go to L.A. and experience the atmosphere, and I saw that high profile people and celebrities rarely get time to themselves and it is the publicist that plans that time. I’d love to be able to bring a different perspective because I didn’t grow up in L.A. and I’d like to bring my different background in a fresh new way and push them to live out their dreams.

What book would you recommend to your best friend?

Why am I forgetting every book I’ve ever read? I love the Divergent series, I love that independent woman thing. There is something pretty awesome about that.

If you could travel anywhere where would you go and why?

Hmm this is really exciting to think about. I think I want to go to Europe, so probably London. Nope! Paris! I have always wanted to go to Paris. I took French for my foreign language, and I feel like it is such an awesome culture and they are so driven. I love driven people. Paris is so fast paced and driven, so I would love to visit there. Probably all of France to be honest.

What are you the most proud of?

Oooh this is a hard question. As I said I’m an opportunist, and I like to go after things and try new things, and I taught myself Photoshop this last year.

If you could only save five items from a burning building what would they be?

Five? Hmm, baby photos. Probably my comforter, I have a weird attachment to my comforter. Does a dog count? If so my dog, Fifi. My cellphone and my computer. No, I could live without my cellphone and just take my computer. My mom, can I grab her?

What would be the first thing you’d buy if you won the lottery?

I think I would design my own dream home with secret hidden passageways. I also have this crazy dream where I want a river going through my house with glass over it so it doesn’t get dirty. It could have little fish swimming through it, it would be so cute.

What makes your resume stand out?

I think my resume is different because it reflects all of my different strengths. Even though I have this job in mind, my resume doesn't necessarily point towards that career specifically. I've sort of created my own job, and my resume reflects the varying skills that I have, and what I can bring to my field.
