David J. Brannan Memorial Scholarship
David J. Brannan was a 1976 graduate of Purdue's Visual and industrial design programs, and worked in agencies and at IBM. He brought a wealth of experience to Purdue as he headed Purdue Marketing Communications (PMC) from 1992-2009, managing around 1,000 to 1,500 jobs per year. PMC won both national and local awards under his leadership. He served as an advisor for the Lafayette Downtown Redevelopment Commission to brand city signage that is used today. This scholarship in his honor was established by his wife, Wilma Brannan, in 2010.

Criteria for Eligibility:
The awards is granted automatically to the sophomore student with the highest GPA in each major (Visual Communications Design or Industrial Design) during their Junior or Senior year.
