Outstanding Sophomore Award: English
This award serves to to identify promising English majors, with the aim of helping direct them towards prestigious external scholarships and grants later (with Purdue's National & International Scholarships Office).
Deadline: February 15
Amount: $500
Criteria for Eligibility:
- Applicants must be majors in Creative Writing, English Literature, Global Context, or Professional Writing.
- 3.85 GPA or higher, along with clear intellectual interests beyond the classroom.
- On-campus involvement. A title (e.g. President) or organization (e.g. Student Government) matters less than outcomes. What did you *do* or accomplish in these leadership roles?
