Gear Rental Process

Before You Check Out

  1. All students must complete a FVS User Agreement with the Film Dept. Head to check-out gear
    1. User Agreements are available to students currently enrolled in select FVS Production courses (see below_
  2. Check the Available Equipment page. Please note that kits cannot be broken up into individual parts, and gear is limited by class and specialty training. Renting gear is first come, first serve.
  3. Visit the Gear Room Hours page. As the gear room is student-run, it does not operate under normal business hours. Please plan at least 15 minutes or more for the check-out/check-in process when you reserve a time.
    1. Gear rentals span two business days. If you check out gear, it must be returned within the next two weekdays - (ex. Tuesday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday). Rentals on Fridays must be returned the following Monday.
