The Patti & Rusty Rueff School of Design, Art, and Performance offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Art/Design Education, Art History, Film and Video, Industrial Design, Integrated Studio Arts, Interior Design, Music, Sound for the Performing Arts, Studio Arts and Technology, Theatre, and Visual Communication Design. Coming in Fall 2024 will be two new exciting majors - Design Studies and Interdisciplinary Performance, offering further options for students to find the right fit for their interests, talents, and career goals.
The School is primarily housed in Yue-Kong Pao Hall of Visual and Performing Arts, which features the Mallett and Hansen Theatres, two dance studios, a professional recording studio, the Music Computing Lab, the Rueff Galleries, and a myriad of studios and lab spaces. The School also utilizes labs and collaborative studios across campus, including large spaces in Elliott Hall of Music and Stewart Center.
Our internationally-acclaimed faculty publish, teach, exhibit, lecture and perform across the country and around the world.
