The College of Liberal Arts is accepting nominations for the Emerging Voice Awards through January 3, 2025. Alumni may nominate themselves. Awardees will be honored at a banquet on April 11, 2025.

Every year the College of Liberal Arts and the Purdue Alumni Association recognize Liberal Arts alumni and students who push the boundaries of creativity, generate ideas that propel economic growth, and advance change.

THE DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARD

Since 1986, the Distinguished Alumni Award has recognized alumni who are change agents in their communities as teachers, researchers, business leaders, visionaries, advocates, artists, and innovators.

THE EMERGING VOICE AWARD

The Emerging Voice Award recognizes young alumni who have excelled in their careers and proven to be productive, engaged members of society. Alumni who have one or more degrees from the College of Liberal Arts and are 40 years of age or younger are eligible to be considered for this award.

OUTSTANDING SENIOR AWARD

The College of Liberal Arts recognizes a graduating senior from each Liberal Arts department with the Outstanding Senior Award. These 10 extraordinary students show intelligence in their academic work, passion for their major, and leadership skills among their peers.
