Nate Albin
History and Social Studies Education (Degree Plus)

Nate founded his own student organization on campus, the Federation of Marble Racers West Lafayette (FoMRWL). This dedicated group of students pours their energy and passion into what they call the sport of the future — marble racing. Members gather regularly to race, discuss strategies, and explore all aspects of marbling.

Rachel gives a great breakdown on what to expect from freshman year through senior year during her Instagram Takeover! After graduation Rachel has taken an intern position with AOA a Project Management & Design Service Company located in Florida.
Annette Tan
Law & Society and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies

Annette has a deep passion for the Student Pedagogy Advocate Program. Over the summer she presented at the 20th annual ISSOTL (International Society for Scholarship of Teaching and Learning) Conference alongside her former instructor and faculty partner Lindsay Hamm. During her panel presentation they discussed "How Can Student-Faculty Partnerships Enhance Very Large Classes?", we contextualized how the collaboration of our student/instructor role during our partnership led to meaningful teaching and learning outcomes.
Cole Sand
Communication and Atmospheric Science
Los Angles, California
At an early age, Cole became an accomplished child star, appearing in notable TV shows, but also had a passion for all things related to the weather. Purdue gave him the opportunity to combine both of his passions, acting and meteorology. As a Degree Plus student in Communication and Atmospheric Science, his goal is to merge these two fields and become a broadcast meteorologist.
