Purdue alumna Delita Martin returns to campus with a solo exhibition featuring a selection of new large-scale mixed media works. Martin’s work entwines symbols, patterns, color, and portraiture to reconstruct the identity of Black women. Martin utilizes a myriad of techniques and materials, layering meanings while exploring her subjects and their relationships. This exhibition is sponsored by the Florence H. Lonsford Endowment.
