Postcards and Publicity

The Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries will promote all gallery exhibitions to the School, galleries mailing list, and local press. Exhibition postcards are not required and, unless otherwise arranged, are the responsibility of the exhibitor. When creating promotional material for your upcoming exhibition, please consider the following information.

Purdue students, faculty, and staff can access branding and style guide information through Purdue's offfice of Marketing and Media: Purdue Marketing and Media
The front of the card may contain any image or typeface appropriate for your exhibition. The reverse of the card should fit Purdue branding requirements, as described in the link above.

Postcards must contain the following information:

  • Exhibition Title
  • Name of Artist
  • Address:
    Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries (specify East or West Gallery, if applicable)
    Yue-Kong Pao Hall of Design, Art, and Performance
    Purdue University
    552 W Wood St
    West Lafayette, IN 47907
  • Gallery Hours: Monday - Friday 10 am - 7 pm
  • Website: www.cla.purdue.edu/rueffgalleries
  • Reception and/or artist talk date and time (if applicable)

Please have the format and spelling of your postcard checked by the Purdue Galleries exhibition team prior to printing.

Note: If the Purdue return address is placed too low on the page, post office electronic scanners will pick that up and send all postcards back to us. If you are not mailing the postcards, there are no restrictions on placement of infromation. Postcard templates are available from most online printing companies.
