Applying to the Sociology Graduate Program
The Department of Sociology seeks graduate students with diverse intellectual perspectives and experiences, and accepts students without regard to age, race, gender, ethnicity, creed, national origin, disabilities, or sexual preference.
Our program is a PhD degree granting program in which students earn an MS degree along the way. Applications who have already completed an MA or MS degree in sociology may apply to enter directly into the PhD program.
Please note we do not admit applicants who are only seeking an MS degree.
The graduate program committee will begin reviewing application materials on December 10th for Fall 2022. Applications submitted by this date will receive full consideration.
