Do Gyun Kim
Assistant Professor of Visual Communication Design
Do Gyun Kim is a graphic designer working on typography, motion graphics, human rights design, and experimental texture. He received his M.A. in Graphic design from Oklahoma City University. He holds an M.F.A in graphic design from Oklahoma State University. As an assistant professor in Mississippi and Missouri, Kim taught undergraduate graphic design courses. As a graduate instructor at Oklahoma State University, he lectured on digital design. One of his passions is designing for social change and history. Kim believes that design has the power and ability to play a critical role in our society. His research process is based on texture and revolves around politics, human rights, and historical events. Kim's design works have received over 20 graphic design awards in national and international design competitions in the U.S.A. and Korea. His design work has been published in the U.S.A., Germany, and Korea.
