September - Kathryn Cramer Brownell
Please join me in congratulating Kathryn Cramer Brownell, professor of history, on being appointed to the Organization of American Historians’ (OAH) Distinguished Lectureship Program.
In addition to accepting speaking invitations, as a member of the Distinguished Lectureship Program, Katie will be an ambassador of the OAH and represent the organization and OAH members at invited events.
Since 1981, OAH presidents have appointed prominent U.S. historians to the Distinguished Lectureship Program. OAH Distinguished Lecturers share their scholarship by presenting virtual and in-person lectures at colleges, K-12 schools, museums, faith-based centers, historical societies and other local and regional organizations.
Congratulations, Professor Brownell!
