STELLAR

STELLAR is the Purdue College of Liberal Arts strategic approach to take on the research and educational challenges created by an increasingly data-driven, technology-enabled, and science-directed world. STELLAR fosters new research groups, grant-seeking partnerships, and curricular innovation. STELLAR professors and students explore issues such as social genomics, neuro and medical humanities, media technologies, digital criminology, advanced statistical methods, or AI Ethics. STELLAR research and education projects explain the effect of technology on society or how social and cultural forces shape technologies. The study of ethics and values is intrinsic to STELLAR scholarship. STELLAR collaborations span disciplines and organizations, including national and international academic, non-profit, and industry experts. The program stimulates educational initiatives and programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, such as courses, certifications, majors, and minors.
