PHOTOS: The Village Square

The Village Square is a basement-level social gathering space at Westminster Village that includes a number of amenities for residents. Among these amenities: a bank branch, a convenience store, mailboxes, a fitness room, a coffee machine, a television, a card table, a piano, and multiple plastic tables where residents sit to read their mail or make popcorn for "Movie Monday."

The interior design students will propose redesign concepts for the Village Square that make it a warmer, more inviting space to inhabit. They will also propose ideas for the three hallways that feed into the room. These images show what the Village Square looks like at the beginning of the project. Click on a thumbnail to view a larger version of the image.
