“Being adaptable and open to change is a good strength to have because you never know what is going to happen next"
What is your dream job & what do you want to do after graduation?
After graduation I'm going to law school. Where to? I'm not sure yet. I want to study constitutional law and I'd like to practice in constitutional law or administrative law. I have a passion for First Amendment issues, so when we have protests on campus, whether or not you agree or disagree, that stuff is really fascinating. Delving into people's rights, the 21st century civil rights efforts that are going on, and these constitutional issues would be so interesting to make a career out of.
What's your greatest strength?
The greatest strength I've developed is adaptability. When I was growing up my family moved out of state a lot, and relocating and uprooting your identity put me in a unique position. First of all, I learned to be an extrovert and how to talk to people. I grew up an only child, so the socialization that I had growing up was often times with adults. So I would say adaptability, and the ability to go from one situation to another in a time of importance is probably my biggest strength.
If you could travel anywhere where would you go and why?
I've always wanted to go to the Scandinavian countries and I think it's because I've seen too many beaches. Beaches are cool, water is great, sand is awesome, but there is something about the culture and lifestyle of a different place that makes it the most special. That or I would love to go to Australia and New Zealand. I think the travel I would pick is dependent on what I want to do at that time.
If you could have personally witnessed something what would it have been?
I guess if I had to choose I would've wanted to be at the Continental Congress, the convention of delegates because I have an intense interest in American history and how our culture and society developed and changed over the past 200 something years. I think a real turning point, was this group of merchants and farmers and doctors who came together and created something incredible. There are a ton of historical events though. I would've loved to have been a fly on the wall when Truman decided to use atomic weapons on Japan.
What would be the first thing you’d buy if you won the lottery?
A new car, but not just any car. Although it depends on the lottery. If I get $400,000 then I'd probably buy a house and a small car, but if I got $500 million, then that's a whole other story. I would buy like six Maseratis, four McLarens, and way too many Range Rovers.
