Journalist; CEO/Founder of LilaMax Media (New York, NY)

Jane is currently the Founder and CEO of LilaMax Media. The company provides daily live and recorded reports from the NASDAQ Marketsite in Times Square to 90 + TV stations around the country, including WISH-TV in Indianapolis and WWKI Radio in Kokomo. Jane also Executive Produces and hosts a weekly TV show called "Innovators" that highlights companies and founders who are on the cutting edge of business in technology, medicine, energy and other fields. For the show Jane traveled in 2019 to Vietnam, Turkey, Malta and Italy. Previous to LilaMax, Jane worked as a reporter and anchor at Bloomberg TV and CNN. Jane got her start in TV at WLFI. Jane lives in New York with her husband, Gene Schafer, who is also a Purdue alumni and her two children, Max and Lila.
