Delita Martin is the owner and founding director of Black Box Press, the only open printmaking facility in Arkansas. In addition to being an entrepreneur she is an adjunct professor of Drawing and Printmaking at University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

After completing her undergraduate degree Martin worked as an independent artist for several years before attending graduate school at Purdue. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and her prints and drawings are included in several private and public collections. One of her exhibits, She Who is Brown, was on display in Mullins Library at the University of Arkansas in February, in honor of Black History Month. The exhibit is a series of relief prints featuring the faces of African American women framed by domestic objects such as chairs, Mason jars, and picket fences.

Martin was born in Conroe, Texas and now resides in Little Rock, Arkansas with her husband, Cedric, and their son, Caleb.
