Emily Fletcher & Kory Cooper
Please join me in congratulating Anthropology doctoral candidate Emily Fletcher and her advisor, associate professor Kory Cooper, on being awarded a National Science Foundation Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant.
This grant will fund Fletcher’s dissertation research and project, The Legacy of the Gulkana Site: Collaborative Digital Archaeology and Northern Dene Technology, which uses software and collaborations to explore the value of an old archaeological dataset to archaeologists and communities alike. Project partners include Ahtna, Incorporated and the Gulkana Village Council.
Congratulations, Emily Fletcher and Professor Cooper!
