Martha King is the Vice President of Programs and Projects at Farm Foundation, a national non-profit focused on creating practical solutions for agriculture by building trust and understanding at the intersections of agriculture and society. At Farm Foundation, Martha leads the strategy and implementation of Farm Foundation’s programs and projects portfolio in the areas of digital agriculture, farmer health, market development and access, and sustainability. 

While working in academia for more than a decade, Martha led several initiatives for provosts and deans that streamlined processes and brought enhanced reporting and technology to administrative areas. Now in agriculture, Martha leads projects that bring together and accelerate both people and ideas. Martha’s connection to agriculture runs deep, as she currently serves as co-owner of her family’s nearly 500-acre Illinois farm. She is the recipient of the Young Scholar Award from the History of Economics Society and was selected as an Agricultural Leader of Tomorrow by the Illinois Farm Bureau. Martha resides in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and 4 children.
