Judy Brandau

Judy Brandau, Vice President, International Business Operations, Latin America, West and Hawaii for Marriott Vacation Club, has been with Marriott for over 30 years.
During her career she has worked in five different divisions of Marriott -airline catering, franchise and full-service hotels, vacation ownership as well as in corporate labor/employee relations. Two distinct disciplines - sales and marketing and human resources – have been in both staff and field positions, internationally and domestically. Her international experience encompasses establishing sales and marketing distribution channels in Latin America, the Middle East and Asia.
She graduated summa cum laude from Purdue in l970 with a BA in Foreign Languages. On campus she was an active Pi Beta Phi, also participating in Alpha Lambda Delta, Sigma Delta Pi Spanish Society, Delta Rho Kappa, Grand Prix, Debris, and Pep Girls. She was a member of the 1969 Homecoming Queen Court and was recognized as the 1970 Queen of the School of Agriculture. In 1971 she earned her MA from the University of Missouri.
Judy has been a guest speaker for the Thailand Vacation Ownership Association (TVOA), the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), the Pacific Asia Travel and Tourism Association (PATA), AMDETUR (the Mexican Tourism Council), the Asia Hotel Investment Conference and a guest lecturer at Purdue University’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
