Maureen Pan is responsible for developing the U.S. Marshals Service's annual budget request to Congress. The U.S. Marshals Service is the nation's oldest federal law enforcement agency with a wide range of missions such as protecting federal judges, arresting fugitives, transporting prisoners, protecting endangered federal witnesses, and managing assets seized from criminal enterprises. Over her career she has worked on a variety of budget requests including the Department of Justice's response to the attacks of September 11th and rescue efforts after the devastation from Hurricane Katrina.

Maureen is from Fort Wayne and currently lives in Alexandria, Virginia. Immediately after graduating from Purdue, she obtained a Masters of public policy degree from the University of Michigan. Despite this detour through Wolverine country, she is a die-hard Boilermaker.  Her brother and sister are also Purdue alumni.
