Originally from Logansport, Indiana, Suzanne graduated from Purdue in 2005 with a BA in Theatre, Acting concentration. After acting professionally in Ohio for two years (at the outdoor drama Tecumseh! and the sketch comedy club, Shadowbox Live), Suzanne moved to Chicago in 2007, and began working part time for the Steppenwolf Theatre Company as a member of the Audience Outreach Team, soliciting gifts and subscriptions over the phone. In 2008 she was selected as the Development Apprentice through Steppenwolf's Professional Leadership Program, a nine month long professional training program for aspiring arts administrators. At the conclusion of her apprenticeship, she was hired as Donor Services Coordinator, overseeing all contribution entry and acknowledgment, along with revenue reporting for the Development department. She took on the role of Annual Fund Manager in 2013, and oversees campaigns in direct mail, online, subscription gifts, and telefund that annually raise $600k.

Additionally, Suzanne was a co-founder of Ka-Tet Theatre, a Chicago storefront theatre company, which produced eight full productions between 2009 and 2013.

Suzanne lives in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago with her husband, Scott Luke, and their cat, Jerome T. Mousenik, Esq.
