How do you apply your Liberal Arts skills in your internship?
I applied my Liberal Arts skills in my internship through many ways. I used communication such as writing for social media posts and being able to connect with others in the business. Specific software skills I have learned in liberal arts with programs like Photoshop were applied to my internship through preparing images for social media posts.
What was the most challenging aspect of your internship?
One of the most challenging aspects of my internship is that there are no typical days. I had a different project to work on every week whether it was preparing for a shoot, cutting footage for Luke Combs music videos, creating social media posts, or painting the studio for an upcoming shoot. Although that was challenging, it was also exciting to go in every week and have something new to work on.
What was the most exciting thing about your role?
The most exciting project I worked on was with the Carolina Panthers. My role on the Panthers shoot was to spray the players with water so they looked sweaty for the camera and to be on call whenever they needed a helmet or football for the shot. This experience was so exciting because it was my first shoot I had ever been on! I was also a bit starstruck meeting Carolina Panthers players and even met Purdue alumnus Kawann "KK" Short!
Describe the most meaningful experience you had as an intern.
Besides all of the exciting tasks the most meaningful experience I had as an intern was working with such an amazing crew. The company, TA films, that I worked with were so welcoming and made me feel like I was really a part of their team. I could not have asked to work with a better group of guys and crew to introduce me to the world of production!
