Resultant’s Workforce and Economic Development Practice helps clients leverage data and technology to improve citizen outcomes and the customer experience. Michael Schmierer leads them in client delivery, strategy, engagement management, and business development activities. The team serves a national portfolio of state workforce, labor, and economic development agencies, as well as local government, workforce development boards, and non-profits.
Prior to joining Resultant, Michael applied his knowledge and expertise in both the public and nonprofit sectors. He served as a legislative assistant in the Indiana House of Representatives and in several key operational leadership roles with Conexus Indiana, an Indianapolis-based organization whose mission is to accelerate, promote, and grow Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics sectors.
Michael resides in Indianapolis and has roles on several committees and boards in the community, including vice president of the Purdue College of Liberal Arts Alumni Board, vice president of the Pi Kappa Phi Housing Corporation, and board member of Teach Indy.
