Michael Schmierer

Michael is a 2014 graduate of the College of Liberal Arts with duel degrees in Political Science and History. During college, he was a member of the College of Liberal Arts Leadership Council, Office of Admissions and Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He started his career as a Legislative Assistant in the Indiana House of Representatives serving in this role for two years. Michael now works for Resultant Public Affairs Group as a senior consultant. Formerly, Michael worked for Conexus Indiana, a non-profit based in Indianapolis whose mission is to accelerate, promote and grow Indiana's advanced manufacturing and logisitcs sectors. He held multiple roles within Conexus; he started as a Project Coordinator and last their Director of Operations. He was the youngest member of the Conexus senior leadership team, fulfilling his responsibilities such as managing all budgets, contracts, project management, and human resources.

Michael resides in Indianapolis and outside of his career, he sits on several committees and boards. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Pi Kappa Phi Housing Corporation and is an advisor working directly for the Chairman, President, Executive Committee and Board in preparation for the 2022 College Football Playoff Committee to be hosted in Indianapolis. Previously he was a member of the Ivy Tech Community College Supply Chain and Logistics Advisory Board and the Purdue Road School Planning Committee.
