A West Lafayette native, Emily Blake graduated from Purdue in 2009 with a major in communications and a minor in organizational leadership and supervision. She is the 12th person in her family to graduate from Purdue. Emily joined the Purdue Alumni Association staff in 2010 and has held a variety of roles, including directing the young alumni program. She currently serves as the marketing and promotions coordinator, where she is helping to launch a variety of career resources for Purdue alumni, including online networking events that allow alumni to log on and have conversations with people who live on the other side of town — or the other side of the world. You can also find Emily meeting and greeting alumni at many of the Purdue special events. Emily is married to her high school sweetheart and fellow Purdue grad, Ryan Blake (HHS’09).
