As Executive Director, Marketing and Communications, Sue oversees the creation, design, and implementation of integrated marketing and communications plans that support the Daniels School’s strategic plan, brand strategy and mission.  She also leads the teams of Alumni Relations, Undergraduate and Graduate Recruiting.

Prior to coming to Purdue, Sue spent five years at Indiana University in a system wide marketing role providing strategic and tactical leadership for Indiana University’s integrated media efforts.  Her responsibilities included managing all aspects of integrated media planning and execution, social media, research, web strategy, and building the first marketing analytics team for IU Communications.

Formerly a media director in advertising agencies throughout the US, Sue has category experience with some of the world’s largest brands in Retail, Healthcare, and Restaurants, along with extensive experience in national political media, planning media for many candidate and issue campaigns. She created and taught and upper-level Strategic Media Planning and Buying course as an adjunct professor at Butler University for several years and is a graduate of the Brian Lamb School of Communications at Purdue.

A resident of Charlotte, NC and mom to 3 grown children, a rescue dog, and 3 young granddaughters, the native Chicagoan spends her free time playing tennis and golf and cheering on her beloved Boilermakers, Blackhawks and Cubs.
