Fenggang Yang

Please join me in congratulating Fenggang Yang, professor of sociology and Director of the Center on Religion and the Global East, for receiving a grant of $2,050,493 from the John Templeton Foundation for his project, Global East Religiosity and Changing Religious Landscapes.

The three-year project will measure individual religiosity in three Eastern Asian societies with a new set of survey instruments; map religious sites of multiple religions in the Global East; and include a comparative historical examination of the growth of Christianity in East Asian societies.
