Daniel Meyer’s practice focuses on defending professionals (primarily lawyers, insurance producers and design professionals) in malpractice litigation and on representing condominium and homeowner associations on corporate and litigation affairs.  Meyer also served as National Coordinating Counsel for several corporations in environmental litigation and lead counsel in more than 20 jury trials in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, California, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

Meyer is a member of the Defense Research Institute (serving as the Professional Liability Committee’s Chair), Professional Liability Underwriters Society, Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, Chicago Bar Association, and Illinois State Bar Association.  He speaks and writes frequently on defense and risk management principles effecting professionals. Meyer most recently held a DRI Professional liability Seminar in New York City.

Meyer currently lives in Lake Forest, IL with his wife and two sons.
