Sherry Lowe Johnson is part of a talented group of attorneys at Dilworth Parson, LLP who represent financial institutions and leasing companies across the country, specializing in preference defenses and critical vendor claims in bankruptcy courts, and fraud claims, programmatic failures, and other complex financing and leasing issues in state and federal courts.
Johnson has practiced law for almost 20 years. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania; U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit; and the Supreme Court of the United States. She also represents clients in the following states upon pro hac vice admission: Delaware, Indiana, Illinois, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, and Virginia.
Johnson is currently a member of the Legal Committee for ELFA. She also served as a member of the Credit and Collection Committee for ELFA. She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, serving on the Article 9 Committee, and is a member of several other local bar associations. In addition, Johnson serves as a substitute teacher at Fox School of Business at Temple University on topics of bankruptcy and turnaround management, and is a Board Member of Cheyney University Foundation.
