We welcome applicants to our Ph.D. program. To be considered for Fall 2027 admission, the application deadline is Jan 6th. 

We recognize application fees present a financial hardship for many interested scholars. Regretfully, we do not have the ability to offer application fee waivers at the department level. Please contact the Graduate Studies Office to inquire about possible University-level mechanisms for such requests.

(note: GRE scores are accepted, but not required)

 Eligibility:

Applicants are expected to have a strong background in philosophy, at the undergraduate and/or MA level. Cumulative grade point average from most recent degree should be 3.4, or equivalent.
