Biography

Dr. Long has published on a variety of topics concerning issues of class struggle, antiheroes, and neoliberalism. His dissertation merges these topics by exploring the concept of the "Anglo-American criminal capitalist" as it emerges and develops in the British and American poplar novel through the 19th century and into the early 20th.

Currently, Dr. Long teaches courses in Composition, Technical Writing, and occasionally Introduction to Literature. He also serves as the Financial Director of COVE, an open-access platform that publishes both peer-reviewed material and "flipped classroom" student projects built with online tools.
