Claire Mason received her Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Theatre Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May of 2021. Her area of expertise is international theatre by and for young people, specifically focusing upon meaning-making, parallax viewership, and adolescent agency in alternative dramaturgies. Her research and teaching intersect in the classroom, where she explores the complexity of verbal and nonverbal meaning-making with students from a wide range of ages, nationalities, and life experiences.
