Aline Beatriz Coutinho has a BA in History from the Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro and is finalizing her MA in History from the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. In Brazil, she actively participated in several feminist mobilizations focused on reproductive rights. Her research interests focus on abortions, gender ideology, and political and social mobilizations at the end of the 20th century in Latin America, mainly in Brazil. She will work under the guidance of Dr. Kline.
