Biography

Emily Crider is a literature PhD student at Purdue University. Primarily focused on 19th-century British literature, her research interests include women writers, Lacanian analysis, and gender and postcolonial theory, with a more specific emphasis on the concept of nostalgia as it constructs or complicates questions of individual and collective identity.
