About
Joel Ebarb is Executive Associate Dean in the College of Liberal Arts. He has served in the dean’s office since 2015. His portfolio includes the following areas, programs, and initiatives:

Previously, he served as chair of the Department of Theatre from 2011-2015. He is a professor in the Rueff School of Design Art, and Performance, specializing in theatre design and production/costume design. Joel began his career at Purdue in 1997.
He is an award-winning educator, and was a 2011 recipient of the Charles B. Murphy Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching, Purdue University's highest undergraduate teaching honor. He is a member of the Teaching Academy, and is listed in the Book of Great Teachers.
