Josh Renfro

Josh Renfro received his Ph.D. in Classics in the Joint Program for Ancient Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin in 2024. His current research focuses on the interaction of ancient rhetoric, science, and philosophy with regard to ancient erotic communication and practice in Platonism. He also has active interests in Greek and Latin literature, the history of philosophy, and non-Western philosophical thought. He has taught courses in Greek and Latin language, literature, history, and culture at the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Georgia, and St. John's College.
