Keri Blair is a first-generation college student from Calhoun, TN. She earned a BA in History from Lee University in Cleveland, TN before attending graduate school at East Tennessee State University. She completed her MA in the Spring of 2020 and has come to Purdue to pursue a PhD in History. As a lifelong equestrian, her research interests focus on early modern England and horse culture. Her master’s thesis analyzed equestrianism used in coronation ceremonies while examining the rise of horse culture in Tudor England. She will be pursuing a PhD under the guidance of Dr. Melinda Zook.
