Biography
Beatrice has six years of experience as a communication analyst across various sectors. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in communication studies at Purdue University. She received her Bsc in Mass Communication for the University of Lagos, Nigeria and proceeded to get an MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology and a Master of Art in Communication Studies at Texas Tech University. Beatrice was one of Master Card’s sixty fully funded African scholars for the Nigerian University of Technology and Management Scholar’s Program where she earned a Post graduate diploma in Technology, Entrepreneurship and Design.
Research and Teaching
Beatrice's academic journey is rooted in her passion for comprehending the complexities of organizational communication. Her research concentrates on critical domains, including the influence of technology on the interactions between organizations, internal communication strategies, and organizational culture and leadership. She endeavors to reveal the nuances of these dynamics through qualitative research methods, with the objective of depicting how effective communication can be a foundational element for the success of an organization and the engagement of its employees. Beatrice is dedicated to the advancement of the discipline by investigating innovative communication strategies that promote a dynamic organizational environment.
Beatrice has two years of practical experience teaching professional business communication and public speaking, in addition to her research. This experience has refined her capacity to articulate convoluted ideas with precision and has intensified her commitment to equipping others with the necessary skills to thrive in professional environments.
