Biography 
 
Taylor Pope is a dual-title PhD student in Sociology and Gerontology. Her current work is focused on how social ties and structural inequalities shape vulnerability and risk. She is also interested in how family relationships shape well-being across the life course. Her work has been published in Crime & Delinquency and Journal of Elder Abuse and Neglect.
 
Taylor earned her B.S. in Psychology from Purdue University in 2021, her M.A. in Gerontology from Georgia State University in 2024, and her M.S. in Sociology from Purdue University in 2026.
