Tulin Ece Tosun received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Purdue University in 2018. Her areas of expertise are Shakespeare, early modern literature, Renaissance drama, and Ottoman history and culture. She focuses on intercultural and cross-cultural encounters, travel literature and her work has appeared in Interactions and Academic Communication Textbook. She is co-editing Women Re-Writing History: Critical Resistance through Literature, Film, and Art.  She is currently working on her book project, Haremization of Desdemona: A Comparative Study of Shakespeare’s Othello in the Ottoman Context.  She is a continuing lecturer at Purdue Language and Exchange Program (PLaCE) and will be teaching part-time for Cornerstone.  Her office is HEAV G36B and her email is ttosun@purdue.edu.
