Kevin is the Founder and CEO of KJK Sports - a business that has recently launched three start-ups since 2019. The first company is Blue Radar Search - an online search firm targeting jobs and advancement of NCAA and high school athletic coaches. The company offers a robust database of more than 50,000 coaches.
The second company is KJK Registrations - an online registration and website company for athletic camps of all sports and ages. This is the second time Kevin has entered this arena, having previously founded SDI Camps & Races, LLC in 2008. SDI grew quickly and was acquired by Stack Sports in August of 2016. And the most recent venture for Kevin is Student Athlete Camps. Launched in August of 2021, this business is targeting college athletes who are now able to make money off their Name, Image and Likeness. Kevin essentially serves as the camp director for clients who need assistance with the organization, setup and execution of running a successful camp.
Locally, Kevin has been a volunteer with the Wabash Township Fire Department for 20 years and currently is in his third year as Deputy Chief and the 16th as a line officer. The WTFD responds to more than 1,200 medical and fire calls annually. He has also participated in many different sales presentations, mock interviews and group discussions with classes at Purdue and the sales staff at the Purdue Exponent (of which he was the Sports Editor during his undergrad days as a Boilermaker from 1993-97). Kevin's family includes his wife Holly, who works in The Office of the Registrar at Purdue, as well as 15-year old daughter Kari and 12-year old son Bryce.
