Harold Woodman Graduate Research Fund Funding amount is dependent on the quality of proposals and availability.  Applications are reviewed twice yearly by the Graduate Committee. Email applications to Academic Program Manager, O.T. Ford, at otford@purdue.edu
Flaningam Award Award of $500, awarded to the author of the best graduate-level paper submitted. Email applications to Academic Program Manager, O.T. Ford, at otford@purdue.edu.
Paul and Reed Benhamou Graduate Scholarship Scholarship amount is dependent on the number of scholarships awarded. Email applications to Academic Program Manager, O.T. Ford, at otford@purdue.edu.
The George Mayer Award for History Award amount will be determined on availabilty, and one award will be made each year. The Graduate Committee will emphasize evidence of graduate student leadership in their assessment of nominations.  History Departmnt Ph.D. students may nominate themselveds, or faculty may nominate on a student's behalf. Email applications to Academic Program Manager, O.T. Teaching Assistantship Stipend of approx. $20,800 for half-time employment in teaching, for the academic year. T.A.s are eligible for a University subsidized health insurance program. TA applications may be included as part of your application for admission to the graduate program.Teaching Assistantships are awarded by the DOH based on merit in competition with other applicants to the graduate program as recommended by the Graduate Committee.
Graduate Student Teaching Award No monetary award. No application- the Department will submit the name of an outstanding graduate teaching assistant to be recognized by the university with an engraved plaque.
