Purdue 2024 Biannual Rueff School Faculty Exhibition now open
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University Galleries 2024 Biannual Rueff School Faculty Exhibition recently opened for display. The exhibition is located inside the Rueff Galleries within the Yue-Kong Pao Hall of Visual and Performing Arts.
The exhibition allows Rueff School of Design, Art and Performance faculty to share work from their specialty area, showcasing art from nearly all areas of study within the school. It also highlights the breadth and depth of what the Rueff School has to offer while providing a glimpse into what faculty are teaching their students. The exhibition includes a variety of art within different forms and media, ranging from visual communications design all the way to crocheted textiles.
Arne Flaten, Head of the Rueff School of Design, Art and Performance stated, “This is one of my favorite events in the Rueff School. Students get to see what their faculty are working on, and faculty can pull back the curtain and see what their colleagues are doing. In addition, prospective students and visitors are exposed to the ideas and talents of our exceptional faculty.”
The reception for this exhibition will be held on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 5:30 p.m. and is open to the public. The exhibition will run from Sept. 9 to Oct. 4 in the Rueff Galleries East & West.
