Purdue University Galleries 2024 Juried Photography Exhibition Featuring Student Work

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University Galleries is thrilled to announce the opening of its inaugural Juried Photography Exhibition, showcasing a diverse array of photographic work by undergraduate and graduate students from Purdue’s Art and Design Department. This landmark exhibition, sponsored by the CLICK Photography Club, highlights the creative voices of Purdue’s emerging photographers.

The exhibition was juried by photography faculty members Eli Craven and Katherine Dean, along with CLICK Photography Club President Camila Flores Sánchez. It features a variety of photographic styles and subjects, representing the wide-ranging talent and perspectives of Purdue students.

“We wanted to create a new opportunity for students working in photography to exhibit their work,” said Flores Sánchez. “By sponsoring the show, we also aimed to promote our fine art photography club at Purdue, which we were excited to restart this year.”

The Juried Photography Exhibition will be open to the public from Nov. 11 through Nov. 22 in the Patti and Rusty Rueff West Gallery. Admission is free, providing an excellent opportunity for the Purdue community and beyond to experience the work of the university’s next generation of photographers.
