Jeff Warren is the owner/manager of his own law and business consulting practice in the Boston area. Warren Enterprise Associates provides hands-on executive leadership and solutions to business planning, legal and other issues confronted by selected developing companies. He remains a partner of Eaglestone Investment Partners, a Southern California based venture fund.

Prior to forming WEA, he was a partner in a Boston-based law firm. Jeff has 28 years experience as an attorney, venture fund manager, and CEO of companies in various industries, including energy and manufacturing businesses. Jeff has taken leadership roles in many previous technology driven businesses. Companies currently engaging Jeff include a wind turbine manufacturer, an environmental services firm, an oncology diagnostics company, a pre-clinical CRO, and two University based research centers.

Jeff has been both a corporate/finance attorney for large law firms and has been in the private equity and investment banking businesses. As a lawyer, he has always had a very diverse and multi-national practice with transactional and dispute resolution experience with, for, and against Fortune 500 companies, as well as entrepreneurs and venture-backed enterprises. Jeff co-managed Eaglestone for approximately six years and had principal responsibility for portfolio companies in the health care/life sciences, water treatment, and manufacturing industries.

Jeff has been active in corporate governance and currently sits on and in some cases chairs the boards of several companies. Jeff served as the interim CEO of two different companies requiring turnaround expertise, one a case study in ethics failings creating a business crisis, ultimately resulting in a successful turnaround in environmental services.

Jeff is on the Discovery Park Advisory Board at Purdue and on the Engineering Leadership Board at the University of Houston. Jeff was a presenter at the “boot camp” for Purdue faculty entrepreneurs at the Burton Morgan Center in October 2009. He is also a member of the A.A. White society at the University of Houston Law Center.
