Katie Lineweaver

Katie started working for Indianapolis Economic Development, Inc (IEDI) in June 2007. In her capacity of Director she manages the City of Indianapolis' business expansion, retention, and attraction projects. She works closely with the business community, government resource partners, and community and trade associations. Katie promoted the reuse of vacant and under-utilized retail locations, resulting in Lifeline Data Center's high-tech campus, a 200 million dollar plus capital investment, creating thousands of jobs for Indianapolis She coordinates press events on behalf of clients and identifying media opportunities for organization and clients. She represented IEDI and the City of Indianapolis at the Bio 2008 and on a European Mission 2007 to France, German, and England.
Prior to her position with IEDI, Katie was the Township Administrator and Mayor's Neighborhood Liasion for the City of Indianapolis. She was also the Political and Economic Affairs Coordinator for the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors.
Katie's activities while at Purdue include the Liberal Arts Student Council and Delta Zeta Sorority. She has been a member of the Purdue Alumni Association since 2001
