Toyinda L. Smith is the creator of the Champion Influence® Coaching Certification Program, an inspirational speaker, business coach, and author of ‘The Handbook to Unleash Your Potential.’  She is the principal of Leadership Strategy & Consulting, LLC, a team and leader advancement firm where, through innovation and execution focused solutions, she positions people to be champions in the business, education, athletics and leadership domains.

For over 14 years, Toyinda held leadership roles at Purdue University, honing her ability to guide diverse individuals and groups to winning in every area of the mindset creating lasting impact. Toyinda earned an associate degree in organizational leadership and supervision and double bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology at Purdue University. She has a master’s degree in student affairs and higher education from Indiana State University.

Toyinda moved to Hartsville, SC from Indiana in August of 2015. She is the President and CEO of Legacy of Women, Incorporated, a 501c3 organization that aims to inspire the heart of women towards healthy living, meaningful giving and transformational leading fostering legacy building. She owns the Hartsville Balloon Company, LLC, is an Adjunct Faculty member at Coker College in Communication and serves as Project Director at Pee Dee Math, Science & Technology Academy. Toyinda is also a track and field coach at Hartsville High School and is honored to mother two teenagers, Aryal 16 and Tristan 15.
