Susan Brock Williams serves as Director, Governmental Relations for Purdue University, representing the institution before the Indiana General Assembly and state government.  Upon graduation from Purdue, Susan served as a Governor’s Fellow in former Governor Evan Bayh’s Administration and went on to serve in state government as Manager for Legislative and Congressional Affairs for the State Emergency Management Agency and Department of Fire and Building Services and Legislative Director for Indiana Attorney General Pam Carter.  Susan spent six years as the Director of State Government Relations for Ameritech Indiana (now AT&T). 

Susan was a member of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series, Class XX and was honored as an Indianapolis Business Journal’s Forty under 40 recipient in 2005.  She was awarded the Influential Women Award in 2008 by the IBJ.  She is the former board president of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana and continues to serve on the board.  Susan serves as a member of the board of The Advancement Center, the education foundation for Washington Township Schools. She is former board chairperson of the Lacy Leadership Association and the Indianapolis Public Library Foundation Board of Directors.  She is a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Church where she is actively involved. Susan has volunteered with the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis, Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, Meals on Wheels, and the American Pianists Association. 

She and her husband, Brian, lives on the beautiful White River in Indianapolis and have three children, two of whom are students at Purdue University and one a student at North Central High School.
